‘The team need a great motivation to extend winning streak to three victories’
José María Gutiérrez praises the CD Mirandés while stressing that his team really want to extend the winning streak.
The UD Almeria’s coach, José María Gutiérrez, has held a press conference to talk about the upcoming fixture of LaLiga SmartBank and stressed that the idea is to ‘keep winning’ and ‘all the players should have a great motivation to be able to extend the winning streak to three victories’.
To his mind, the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium will witness a tough game, since Mirandés has many ‘virtues’. In this regard, he stressed: ‘They are on a roll, they have skillful forwards, and they are a good defensive team ... so I believe they are a difficult adversary to beat either home or away’. Of course, the coach considers it important that his players need to have a great motivation to play at home and, in addition, it is essential to be equally in intensity’.
Likewise, José María Gutiérrez put emphasis on the value of the fans’ support for the squad and, above all, how important is that ‘the field is full and people are cheering’. In this regard he added: ‘I think we have put our best foot forward thanks to these two victories and I think that both players and fans have to team up to continue winning’.
