‘The players commitment to Almeria is undeniable in every game’

José María Gutiérrez was satisfied after UD Almería beat Extremadura (1-2). The rojiblancos wearing their lawn green away shirts at the Francisco de la Hera Stadium, had to compete fiercely and coped well in adversity. The head coach praised the technical quality of his players: ‘We have great players so in the end, we have won the game’. 

This victory sends Almeria straight to the top-spot in the table of LaLiga SmartBank. This fact led the head coach to recognise that every time players go out onto the pitch ‘the commitment is always great. No matter how the team perform, attitude is always positive’. For this reason, after topping the table, the rojiblanco head coach sent a message inviting everyone ‘to continue adding points, remain top of the table, continue to believe in the exciting project that Turki Al-Sheikh has got for Almeria, which is the dream of getting promotion to First Division’.
