The first-team players strictly comply with LaLiga regulations

The Rojiblancos take greater precautions to protect themselves from the spread of COVID-19

Almería have resumed training at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, and they have done so under strict health and safety measures. Although the first-team are complying with the rules issued by the protocol established by LaLiga and CSD (National Sports Council), the team developed other initiatives to protect themselves from the spread of COVID-19.

At the request of LaLiga, it is necessary to apply those rules that prevailed in the initial phases of the first trainings sessions such as not using changing rooms, not carrying out collective exercises ... In the same way and, as required by protocol, before starting preparations again all the members of the club’s staff and employees who are directly related to the team have already undergone tests for coronavirus that they will undergo once more in the coming days to control and prevent the virus from entering the ‘dressing room.’

At the moment, the changing rooms and the rest of the premises of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium are being disinfected. The person who tested positive is staying home in quarantine, while the rest of the members of the club have tested negative in the tests that were carried out on Wednesday.

After previous day’s shock, Almería get back to normal.
