Samú Costa clocks up a century of UD Almería appearances
The 22-year-old midfielder celebrated his 100th game as a Rojiblanco against FC Barcelona last Sunday at the Power Horse Stadium.
UD Almería midfielder Samú Costa has completed 100 games as a Rojiblanco last Sunday when he came on from the bench in the 83rd minute against FC Barcelona. It was his nineteenth start in the Spanish top flight and celebrates this century of UD Almería appearances at the age of 22.
The Portuguese footballer arrived at UD Almería in the 2020/21 season when he played 40 games: 35 league fixtures in the Segunda Division, 3 Spanish Cup ties and 2 play-off games for promotion. In the 2021/22 campaign, Samú also played 40 games; 38 LaLiga SmartBank matches and 2 Spanish Cup ties.
Samú was a key player in the promotion to the Primera Division. In the current campaign, he has been named in 19 starting XIs, as well as in the Copa del Rey tie.
