Rubén Enri joins again the first team

José María Gutiérrez has called up him to the last match of 2019 against Ponferradina

Rubén Enri, the Almeria B striker and top national scorer with 22 goals (21 officially), has once again been called up by José María Gutiérrez. This is the second time he plays for the first team after his debut in the Copa del Rey. The SmartBank League match will be played this Sunday at midday. The rojiblancos are taking on Ponferradina. 

In addition, some players who did not play the Copa del Rey game, have been called up to this match. Jonathan Silva, who has recently been a father; as well as Balliu and Maras, who could not take part in the last match played in Fuenlabrada because of a sanction. 

Other players who will be out of action due to injuries are Juan Ibiza, Sekou and César de la Hoz. They are still injured and trying to recover sooner rather than later. Also, Rosic, Ozornwafor, Chema and Gaspar, have not been called either. 

The last training took place behind closed doors at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. This will be the last match of 2019 to be played. 

The players called up by José María Gutiérrez are the following: 

Goalkeepers: René (1) and Fernando (13). 

Defenders: Romera (4), Balliu (20), Maras (18), Owona (24), Iván Martos (3) and Jonathan Silva (12). 

Midfielders: Aguza (5), Petrovic (8), Coric (19), Vada (23), Lasso (16), Corpas (17) and Appiah (31). 

Forwards: Juan Muñoz (11), Darwin Núñez (21) and Rubén Enri (34).
