Robertone: ‘I always fought to play in the first division and I'm not going to miss this opportunity’

The Argentinian midfielder speaks on UDA Radio about the first home Matchday of 2022/23 against Real Madrid CF and the ‘team’s togetherness’

The countdown to opening day is on and midfielder Lucas Robertone is counting down the minutes for the championship to start this weekend: ‘We have an exciting start test so we’ve prepared ourselves and we’ve fought to move up to the first division and compete against the best. We’ll do our best to get a good result,’ he expressed on UDA Radio. The Argentinian has spoken of the important fight that is taking place in the midfield: ‘The football usually passes through the midfield and a large part of the game is played there. Real Madrid CF have some great players in that position but we trust in our team and our work to achieve something in favour.’

The challenge of staying up in the elite of world football will force us to fight to death and in this way, he has commented the following: ‘In my career, I always fought to be here, in the first division, and I’m not going to miss this opportunity. My team-mates share this dream and our debut against Real Madrid CF is something that motivates us even more.’ There will be 38 games and 38 Match weeks in which we must manage emotions perfectly: ‘It's a long season and you have to feel better as the games go on to get to the final stretch in the best form. We’ve got full confidence and our sense of togetherness is strong…that's the most important.’
