Pre-season training camp takes place from 29 July to 8 August
UD Almería will return to The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa in Benahavís. The Marbella Football Centre will host training sessions and friendlies
The pre-season is about getting players fit and ready for the upcoming 2021/22 campaign, so UD Almería have just confirmed the dates for the 4-week pre-season taking place from 12 July to 8 August, since LaLiga SmartBank kicks off on the weekend of 14-15 August after the agreement reached between the LFP and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
The Rojiblancos will have different fitness tests and medical assessments on 9-10 July before getting back into the thick of activity at their training base, the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos, on Monday, 12 July.
UD Almería will commence the 11-day training camp from 29 July to 8 August at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa, located in the Malaga-based town of Benahavís. Meanwhile, the players will attend training sessions and play friendlies at the Marbella Football Centre. This is the same setting chosen for the Andalusian Club’s pre-season as last year. After the trip, the team will have to start gearing up for LaLiga SmartBank on 9 August.
