Owona, Ozornwafor and Gaspar, new players called up

Once the last training session is done, it’s time to fly out to Madrid on Sunday.

The defenders Owona and Ozornwafor, and the winger Gaspar are new players in the call-up to the UD Almeria’s squad ahead of the next game. The rojiblancos will play this Sunday (8.00 p.m.), against CF Fuenlabrada, at the Fernando Torres Stadium, corresponding to the 20th matchday of the SmartBank League. 

The Cameroonian is again available after his knee injury, while the Nigerian and the winger, born in Albacete, had been previously left out by tactical decision. On the contrary, the penalised player Balliu, Maras and César de la Hoz have not entered the list; Juan Ibiza, who is injured, Rosic and Chema will be also missing the game. 

The team have taken part in one last training at the Anexo field and they will be travelling to Madrid on a regular flight this Sunday, the day of the big game in Fuenlabrada. The players who have been called up by José María Gutiérrez, are the following: 

Goalkeepers: René (1) and Fernando (13). 

Defenders: Romera (4), Ozornwafor (22), Owona (24), Iván Martos (3) and Jonathan Silva (12). 

Midfielders: Aguza (5), Petrovic (8), Coric (19), Vada (23), Gaspar (7), Lasso (16), Corpas (17) and Appiah (31). 

Forwards: Sekou (9), Juan Muñoz (11) and Darwin Núñez (21).
