'Nueva Almería' School kids buzzing after meeting Cesar de la Hoz, Rodrigo Ely and Anita París

The UD Almería players participated in a radio programme created by talented primary school students

Cesar de la Hoz, Rodrigo Ely and Anita París have held an unusual presser at the 'Nueva Almeria' School. This is a fresh initiative launched by one of the school teachers that consists of a radio programme written and voiced by the students. During the meeting with the youngsters, the players have been answering the questions that the children asked them.

UD Almería co-captain César de la Hoz revealed that in addition to his footballing career, he also did a degree in physiotherapy and proposed it as an alternative plan to sports.

UD Almería centre-back Rodrigo Ely said laughing: 'I had the good or bad luck of playing against Messi. He made me lose a Spanish Cup final.' The defender commented 'playing against this type of players means that you've reached a really high level in football and I'm proud of myself.'

One of UD Almería Women player Anita Paris' goals was self-improvement. She assures that football helped her enormously in the hardest moments of her life: 'Thanks to sport, I've managed to get ahead and I've been able to show people that it's possible. Sport is life and health.'

When the three interviewees were asked about which team they would like to play for, the three agreed that they feel extremely happy at UD Almería and that it is the place where they want to be. The presence of the first-team and women's team players was welcomed by many pupils who brought their UD Almería flags, T-shirts and scarves to show their unwavering support to their hometown heroes.
