The UDA prospects recorded a goalless stalemate against Xerez Deportivo FC in a match with plenty of end-to-end activity and highly competitive
UD Almería 'B' bagged a valuable, hard-fought point away to Xerez Deportivo FC. The 0-0 at the end extends the youthful Rojiblancos' unbeaten run to 6 consecutive matches, which is also the same number of matches as they have remained undefeated as guests. And since their draw FC Águilas, on Matchday 1, the boys from Almeria have always added in their travels, something really significant for a very young team that is making their debut in the tier.
In Jerez de la Frontera it was not easy at all, but as it has also happened in the rest of the league matches. To begin with, the pitch was in poor condition, with nearly 4,000 fans in the stands, something difficult to see in the Segunda RFEF division. On top of that, the rivals began to push hard. However, UD Almería 'B' knew how to adapt to the circumstances, did an excellent defensive job and attempted to surprise their opponents with quick transitions. The referee disallowed a goal against Xerez Deportivo FC in the first half for offside.
After passing through the dressing room, the UDA youth side showed themselves different and at the beginning began to have the ball and control the match. Both sides created chances, but they were not seized.
Joan, with a powerful shot from outside the box, almost made it 0-1, but the hosts also had another very clear one in stoppage time.
Fair distribution of points and UD Almería 'B' that are in excellent form in the competition.
