None of the UD Almeria groups, except the first team, will compete neither this week nor next one

The Spanish Football Federation and the Andalusian Football Federation called off all competitions because of the current outbreak of coronavirus

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF) issued two communiqués in which they have decided to call off, for two weeks, all competitions due to coronavirus. In this way, as far as UD Almería is concerned, none of its football groups will play matches neither this weekend nor the following, except for the first team who plays in the SmartBank professional league.

At first, the Spanish Football Federation had decided that the games could take place behind closed doors, but this Wednesday made up their mind to call off the competitions, so that neither the Almeria B team, in the IX group of Third Division; nor U-19 Almeria (Juvenil A) in ‘Division de Honor’; not even UD Almeria Women first team in Primera Nacional (First National) will compete. The same will happen with the rest of the UD Almeria Academy teams; a total of 12 teams.

On the other hand, it has been recommended that training, should be taking place behind closed doors
