Non-stop training as players get back into the swing of it on Thursday

The first team footballers are training at 12 noon at the Anexo training ground to focus on Fuenlabrada (Saturday, 8.30 p.m. CEST)

There is no break for the Rojiblancos; La Liga has entered into a really intense dynamic with many matches to be played in a row, so that Almería are getting back into the swing of activity this Thursday because on Saturday they have a new official competition fixture coming again at home. This time, it will be Fuenlabrada who will visit Juegos Mediterraneos on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. CEST.

The first team players will be training on Thursday at 12 noon since the match versus Cartagena ended quite late and the players and coaching staff members will also have to get tested for Covid-19 before the training session as required by LaLiga’s protocol to perform tests 48 hours before each match.

This training session will consist of an active recovery as a consequence of having played many back-to-back encounters recently, although those players who did not play or did so fewer minutes will exercise more intensely. On Friday, new training sesh while on Saturday, the day of the meeting against Fuenlabrada, there will be a pre-game activation workout in order.
