UD Almería ‘B’ will go the extra mile to secure promotion play-offs stab

The countdown begins! There are three tough-looking games left to ensure they remain in the Segunda Division RFEF promotion picture. Not everything depends on their own results

A disappointing home defeat to current leaders Marbella FC saw UD Almeria ‘B’ move back down to 7th position as they remain two places and two points behind the VIP zone. Not everything depends on UD Almeria ‘B’s own results...If they want to get into the dogfight to move up a tier, in addition to having to win their three last games, the UDA Academy hopefuls also depend on Atlético Malagueño and Huétor Vega’s scores.

UD Almería ‘B’ will not have it easy since two out of their final fixtures in April are against top half Malaga-based teams El Palo FC and UD Torre del Mar who are sitting third and fourth in the standing, respectively.

The first final that UD Almeria ‘B’ will have to face against CF Motril will be held at 2pm (Spain Time) on Sunday, 2nd April at the Escribano Castilla ground. If the Granada-based team happens to win, the hosts will mathematically secure their Tercera Division RFEF survival.

Subsequently, UD Almeria will have the weekend off and will not be in action again until Sunday, 16th April, when they will be taking on UD Torre del Mar on home turf. The youthful Indalicos will wrap up the season with one last trip against El Palo FC.
