Coric back in training and Juan Ibiza is experimenting more with the ball

Almeria resume training in a week in which they will not be playing any game as matchday 23 has been postponed

Almeria resumed training two and a half days later after their brilliant and spectacular victory in Lugo. Today the team took part in an afternoon behind closed doors training session at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium.

Coric, who went down with a sprained knee during the match against Ponferradina, returned to training but handling it smoothly, while Juan Muñoz who is still recovering from the serious injury that he suffered at the beginning of the season continues receiving rehabilitation treatment and in this first session of the week he has been experimenting more with the ball. There is no doubt that these are good news.

As we already know, UD Almeria will not be playing any game this weekend as the next League matchday has been postponed because of the second round of the Copa del Rey. José María Gutiérrez will take advantage of this break to work on specific aspects of his team.

Some players have been absent from training. The keeper Rosic has been loaned out to Real Club Celta de Vigo B; Owona, who is being treated for some knee discomfort; Maras and Petrovic, with the club's permission to sort out some paperwork.
