Arvin Appiah loaned to Málaga CF until the end of season

Agreement reached between UD Almería and the second-tier side after finishing his loan at CD Tenerife

UD Almería player Arvin Appiah will play on loan at LaLiga SmartBank side Málaga CF until the end of the season following an agreement reached by both Andalusian clubs and the footballer.

The 22-year-old attacker began the current campaign playing for CD Tenerife on loan, but once the January transfer window has opened, the team from Tenerife agreed with UD Almería to end their loan deal. The transfer has been closed during this past weekend so this Monday, Appiah will be able to train with his new club, Málaga CF.

The English right-winger arrived at UD Almería in the 2019/20 season after penning a five-year deal. Over that past season, Appiah played 21 league games, 1 Copa del Rey tie and 2 play-off for promotion to the first division games. In 2020/21, Appiah started at UD Almería and then, in the January transfer window, he was loaned to CD Lugo: 4 fixtures played as a Rojiblanco and 13 in the Galician team. Next, in the 2021/22 campaign, Appiah played 31 league games and 3 Spanish Cup ties, celebrating promotion to the top flight with UD Almería.
