Almeria Women are back in contention for the next game against Extremadura

The rojiblancas are playing in Almendralejo on Sunday (12 noon)

UD Almeria Women are back in action for the next complicated match of Primera Nacional League. Both teams, Almeria and Extremadura, will be battling it out to sit fifth in the table. The meeting will take place in the town of Almendralejo at 12 noon.

It will certainly be a crunch game because one of the sides will sit fifth in the table after the game. Extremadura are currently in that spot in the standings so they will do their best to keep their position. The rojiblancas are only one point behind their next opponents. As mentioned above, it will be a complicated clash against a team that made things very difficult in the first round of the championship. The opponents are a very solid team. The girls’ coach, Carlos Hinojo said ‘Extremadura have talented quality players.’

This match week, there are many players who will miss the game. Carlos Hinojo explained ‘the team face a double challenge this week. One is their rivals, who are considered one of the best teams in the tournament; and the other challenge is that Almeria must cope with the numerous absences of the side. We have to make a huge effort in order to win the three points.’
