Almería step up preparations with the League on the horizon

The Rojiblancos have just finished their third week of training and begin the month of June with full squad training, a step forward prior to competing

UD Almería have just finished their third week of training after the activity resumed on 9th May. Training was suspended back in mid-March due to coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, the players learned that they will be able to start collective training with all the members of the UD Almeria squad participating. This will be the previous step before the competition resumes…the Segunda Division is on the horizon!

The Almería team footballers have just completed a gruelling week of training, in which the tactical drills began to develop in a more important way once the players’ fitness was previously improved. In fact, the protocols are part of a four-phase process progressing from individual training, group training of up to 10 players and the one that has just concluded with groups of 14 players. As of Monday, they will start full squad training in the usual way, as it used to happen before the competition was suspended.

Almería will have their day off on Sunday before getting back on the pitch for training on Monday afternoon (6.30 p.m.). They will exercise at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. The players will start training early in the morning (9 a.m.) at the Anexo from Tuesday.
