Almería flying back home from Las Palmas on Sunday and footie practice on Monday

The Rojiblancos spend the night in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and will be flying charter on Sunday morning

Almería return this Sunday from Las Palmas after the Matchday 6 fixture at the Gran Canaria Stadium. The Rojiblancos will spend the night on the island and will be flying back to Almeria on a charter flight on Sunday morning. The squad are meant to land in the afternoon after two and a half hours of flight.

It is a frenzy of activity. The squad resume training on Monday, at 9.45 a.m. Spain Time, at their usual base, the Anexo training ground, to begin preparing for the imminent encounter to take place on Wednesday against Cartagena. The coaching staff will be pumping the players up for the next game as well as focusing on the players’ recovery, especially since there is a new meeting on Saturday. On a positive note, Almeria will not have to make any trip as the next two league matches will take place on home turf at the Juegos Mediterráneos stadium. 

The backroom team will also be conducting another training sesh on Tuesday and on Wednesday, there will be another football practice before getting together prior to Cartagena’s visit in Almeria. The red and white squad will be turning their attention to their next opponents Fuenlabrada on Thursday and Friday.
