Almeria first team and Almeria ‘B’ participate in a seminar on Integrity
José Ignacio Arbea, responsible for this department within LaLiga, met with both senior and youth squads
The UD Almería first team and the Almeria ‘B’ team each participated in a seminar on Integrity conducted by José Ignacio Arbea, head of this department at LaLiga. Every year, the football association aims to educate the clubs especially, the players and coaches about ‘fair play’ in relation to betting or for instance, the appropriate use of social media.
Before the first-team squad began their workout routine, all of the players and members of the coaching staff met with José Ignacio Arbea at the warm-up track of the Juegos Mediterráneos stadium. After 15-minute talk, LaLiga Director of Integrity headed for La Vega de Acá training ground to meet with the Almeria ‘B’ team youngsters.
Because of the Covid-19, these interesting seminars are now being held either outdoors or at well-ventilated spaces. In addition, their duration is shorter, although it continues to delve into the most important issues that concern LaLiga the most, such as the matter of betting, being on the alert for calls requesting information about the team ... José Ignacio Arbea was very clear throughout his presentation, arguing that LaLiga will ensure ‘fair play’ at all times.
