Almería feel more self-confident after testing negative for coronavirus once more

The Rojiblancos continue with their preparation while waiting to know when they can enter the play-offs

Almeria have tested negative for COVID-19 for the second consecutive day after last Tuesday one of the members of the squad tested positive. Both on Wednesday and Thursday, the Rojiblancos underwent new tests that have given a satisfactory result that gives even more confidence to the team. 

Meanwhile, the person who tested positive is still isolated at home, keeping a quarantine. He has no symptoms and his health is good. The Rojiblancos, under the guidelines of the new coaching staff led by the new Portuguese head coach José Gomes, continue with their play-offs practice under strict control in terms of health safety and, at the same time, waiting to have news of when they can enter the play-offs for promotion to the First Division. They will take on Girona in the semifinals. 

The first-team UD Almeria squad return to work in a morning session at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium on Saturday.
