Almería continue to jump over any hurdle in the competition

The Rojiblancos, keenly focused on the promotion to the First Division, also performed a 5-star Copa del Rey display. They resume training on Tuesday

Almería continue to jump over any hurdle and overcome any challenge in the competition. Jose Gomes’ lads are not only fully focused on promotion to the top flight with their aspirations intact, but also turning their attention to the Spanish Cup as they have proved by putting 5 past Deportivo Alavés on home turf.

José Gomes's team qualified for the last 16. Next week, they will find out their next Cup rivals once the last knockout stages of this round of 32 are played on Thursday.

Now it is time to focus on LaLiga because next Sunday, 24 January, the second half of the championship is due to start, welcoming Sabadell at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, with kick-off at 2:00 p.m. (Spain Time). Then, Copa del Rey is due to return on Wednesday, 27 January and another home LaLiga SmartBank fixture against Castellón (Saturday, 30 January, kick-off time 9:00 p.m. CET).

Almería are having a break at the moment with their homework done. For this reason, the squad have two days off before resuming training on Tuesday, at 10.30 a.m. CET at their training base, the Anexo.
