Almería back to training in a double gameweek

Real Sociedad ‘B’ visit the ‘Mediterraneo’ this Thursday. Tuesday and Wednesday, practice behind closed doors. Robertone and Buñuel exercise on the sidelines

The UD Almería players are back to training again in a hectic week as they will have to play two fixtures in less than 72 hours. The Rojiblancos are hosting Real Sociedad ‘B’ this Thursday (kick-off 6:45pm Spain Time) before visiting CD Mirandés this Sunday for a 2pm kick-off at the Anduva Stadium.

After Sunday off and Saturday’s active recovery session as soon as they arrived from Bilbao, the squad members trained at the Anexo Juegos Mediterraneos this Monday with the presence of Lucas Robertone and Aitor Buñuel, although they were on the sidelines. The fact that the midfielder and the winger are exercising on the pitch reflects that they are doing well in their recovery processes. They will continue to be out of league action, the same as peer Ramazani, who was undergoing physio treatment and working at the indoor warm-up area of the Stadium.

Almeria ‘B’ Keeper Diego Fuoli, defender Aitor Puñal and forward Raúl Caballero joined the first-team players as per usual but the youngsters did more recovery work given that they played with the ‘B’ team last Sunday.

UD Almería are now fully focused on preparing for Thursday's home fixture against Real Sociedad ‘B’, without forgetting that another game is coming in Miranda de Ebro (Castillla y Leon) this Sunday.

The Rojiblancos will be training behind closed doors this Tuesday and Wednesday.
