Almeria B willing to keep their winning streak against CD Melilla

The players from the youth academy will face a tough game after staging stunning comeback against Jaén

The UD Almería B-team, produced another sensational late comeback from 2-0 down to beat Jaen 4-2. The side will face a complicated game against CD Melilla. Although our next opponents are in the drop zone, Almeria do not want to take a victory for granted so they have been working hard during the week to keep their winning streak. After 14 games without losing, Almeria B are chasing longest unbeaten run records.

The rojiblancos’ great form is recognised after defeating Jaén, but in the second team’s dressing room they want to make a fresh start and they are aware that the only way to extend their lead will be by being focused on the La Espiguera, where there are always surprises and the Melillans fans cheer on their team CD Melilla in their fight to get out of the relegation zone of the Group IX of the Third Division.

The match will be played at 11 a.m. this Sunday. If Almeria B win, the side will take a big step forward. The rojiblanco coach has not been able to count on all his squad during the week since some of them have been training with the first team, although they will be in Melilla to face the match.
