Almeria ‘B’ to defend their leader against Alhaurín de la Torre

The young Rojiblancos are visiting the Malaga-based team this Saturday for a 7pm kick-off. The two sides have not been defeated so far

The UD Almería ‘B’ team will have to defend their lead within Tercera Division RFEF (Group IX) visiting Alhaurín de la Torre. Both teams have not been defeated this season yet so they will go all out for a win at the Los Manantiales ground this Saturday (kick-off 7pm Spain Time/ Matchday 5)

The fact that neither of the two contenders have dropped any points over the course of this campaign means that the upcoming match will be highly competitive in a bid to bag three more points. The Academy Rojiblancos will go into the game on the back of an astounding 6-0 victory achieved on the previous Matchday.

Óscar Fernández will not reveal the squad list yet, but all the team members are expected to be available to be part of the Almeria ‘B’ travelling squad. It will not be known until the last moment whether first team head coach Rubi might count on some Academy players to take on UD Las Palmas this Saturday or not. Meanwhile, goalie Wellington is likely to be up for grabs to avert danger between the sticks as he continues to make good progress from his injury.

12th October

More games to come…Although Almería ‘B’ are playing their next official game this Saturday, the youth squad have learned that they will be welcoming Ciudad de Torredonjimeno to the Pedro Perez aka ‘Tito Pedro’ Sports Complex on Tuesday, 12 October (kick-off 6pm Spain Time). The Anexo training ground continues with the replacement of its grass. A total of 200 UD Almería season-ticket holders will be able to attend the game and support the ‘B’ team Rojiblancos.
