0-0: It is honours even between UD Almería 'B' and Atlético Malagueño

The UDA Academy prospects rued missed chances in the opening minutes as their effectiveness in front of goal failed once again.

Neither side managed to find a breakthrough. UD Almería 'B' recorded a goalless draw with Atlético Malagueño in a match with a lack of effectiveness in front of the goal again. The UD Almería 'B' lads created danger in the opening minutes and rued missed chances in a tight first half. Finally, despite both teams had a few opportunities to score, there was a share of the spoils that left no one happy.

It was a fast-paced first half missing a glut of chances, especially by the youthful Rojiblancos. With two minutes on the clock, Aarón's cross found Gilbert with the attacker's effort grazing the post. A couple of minutes later, Marezi squandered a great opportunity; a mistake by the Malagueños when playing the ball put of the defence. After these first minutes Atlético Málagueño began to create threatening situations. In the 12th minute, Chupete missed a chance with his shot going wide. Shortly after this action, Juanmita also tried his luck, with a shot that went to Obón's side of the net.

In the second half saw no clear dominating side. The first great chance took place in the 69th minute. A good play by the Indalicos ended with another great cross from Aarón to Marciano, but his header went wide. Time began to wind down and the Albicelestes were getting closer and more dangerous while the Rojiblancos started to lose momentum in the dying embers of the second. In fact, the appointment ended with two consecutive fouls that were protected by the defensive wall on the edge of UD Almería's area. The first was cleared by the barrier on 88 minutes and the second was saved by Obón on 90+4 to avoid a defeat that would have been very negative. This is the fifth consecutive winless week and the third in a row without netting for UD Almería 'B'.
