UD Almería regroup and refocus ahead of Barça's visit

The Indálicos trained on Monday morning at the Anexo ground to begin preparing for the match against the current league leaders. Pozo and Melero worked out on the sidelines.

It is time to regroup and refocus after the tough away defeat to Girona FC last Friday. UD Almería have returned to training with their minds set on Sunday's vital match against current LaLiga Santander leaders FC Barcelona.

The Rojiblancos have zeroed in on ball possession accompanied by horizontal passing drills. Head coach Rubi has been able to count on all the squad members, with the exception of Pozo and Melero. Although the pair have been present at the Power Horse Stadium Anexo ground with their team-mates, they exercised on the sidelines with the conditioning coaches.

The Indálicos will have a hectic training week ahead that began on Monday morning and ends on Saturday with an evening practice. All the sessions will be conducted behind closed doors as from Wednesday so that Rubi's men can thoroughly prepare for this vital game and can practise all the offensive and defensive plays and tactics. All the sessions will be held in the morning, except for Saturday's (5pm).
