UD Almería Under-19s 'A' will go the extra mile against UD Las Palmas on the Gran Canaria island in a bid to secure a spot in the Spanish Cup U19 semis. There isn't still a kick-off set for the one-legged tie but it will be held on Wednesday, 15 February.
The UDA Academy youth side that has already beaten Elche and Alavés U19 at home will now try to win over UD Las Palmas U19. The islanders will go into the game after thrashing Betis under-19s 0-3, and knocking Orientación Marítima out in the Spanish Cup U19 first round round. In addition, the invincible group are topping the table in their group at the moment. They haven't been defeated yet with 17 victories on the bounce celebrated in the Division de Honor Juvenil.
UD Almería Under-19s 'A' gaffer Alberto Lasarte has looked ahead to the quarter-finals tie admitting 'it'll be a very difficult game because UD Las Palmas U19 have not been defeated by any outfit yet, but we've got our weapons as we've shown. None of us have lost away from home since last season.'
