Another brilliant performance from UD Almería, who continue to climb the standings and edge closer to a promotion play-off spot. Goals from Chirino, Embarba, Arnau and Lopy sealed a dominant 4-2 victory over Real Zaragoza, leaving the stadium buzzing long after the final whistle.
The electric match, which had all the drama and intensity of a true football battle, was a 'smell of gunpowder' affair from the get go. With 14 shots on target, not including Embarba’s thundering shot off the crossbar, UD Almería showcased their firepower. Three of the six goals came in added time, highlighting the game's frantic pace. Real Zaragoza, despite their efforts, could not contain the relentless attacking force of Rubi’s team.
UD Almería’s tactical flexibility stood out once again. They demonstrated their ability to control different phases of the match, whether in the composed first half, the explosive second-half start, or the final chaotic minutes. However, Real Zaragoza were not finished. Soberón's header made it 3-2 and the tension reached a fever pitch. Yet, Lopy sealed the deal with a brilliant solo run in the 90th minute, elegantly weaving through defenders before finding the back of the net. It was a fitting conclusion to a thrilling, goal-laden match.
