Alex Muñoz to serve one-match suspension after fifth yellow card

The UD Almería left-back has been ruled out for next Sunday’s trip to Córdoba. Injury updates on Horta and Selvi

Alex Muñoz will miss UD Almería’s upcoming match against Córdoba CF after receiving his fifth yellow card of the 2025/26 season during the 4-2 victory over Real Zaragoza. The left-back becomes the first player in Rubi’s squad to be handed a suspension for accumulating bookings, meaning he will sit out the trip to the Nuevo Arcángel Stadium on Sunday.

The absence of Fernández will add to the Club's challenges as they await the return of several international players. Soko, Perovic, Dzodic and Bruno Iribarne are currently away on international duty and will rejoin the Rojiblancos once they return for the match in Córdoba.

Meanwhile, midfielders Selvi and André Horta, are also under close scrutiny. Selvi is recovering from a minor injury, while Horta sustained a knock during the final training session before Saturday’s match and is being monitored ahead of the next fixture.
