UD Almería receive complete support from City Council for Sports Complex project

UD Almería Managing Director Mohamed El Assy met with Almería Mayoress María del Mar Vázquez, who appreciated the work carried out by the Club and the importance of this fresh initiative.

UD Almería have received the strong support and recognition of the Almería City Council for the long-awaited project of building a UDA Sports Complex on El Toyo lands that have just been purchased by the Club. This has been transmitted by City Mayoress María del Mar Vázquez to UD Almería Managing Director Mohamed El Assy.

Both the Club and the Almería City Council will collaborate together to expedite the necessary process that enables the Club to carry out the Sports Complex project on the land of El Toyo II, area recently acquired by Club's owner Turki Alalshikh.

María del Mar Vázquez, together with Councillor for Urban Planning and Infrastructures Ana Martínez Labella, welcomed Mohamed El Assy at the City Hall, and described the step taken by UD Almería as 'essential and absolutely positive for the interests of Almería city' regarding the plans to build a Sports Complex that will surely meet the current and future needs of the Club.
