UD Almería present its 11 Academy and Women’s teams

More than 200 team members took to the pitch at half-time and were given a standing ovation by the 7,697 spectators in the ‘Mediterraneo’ stands

More than 200 UD Almeria Academy and Women’s team members celebrated along with the Segunda Division first-team players the festive evening that took place at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium following the all-important triumph scored by UD Almería over Real Sociedad ‘B’ and also becoming LaLiga SmartBank table-toppers again.

The Club took advantage of the match to present its 11 Academy and Women's teams, who were warmly welcomed on the ‘Mediterraneo’ lawn with a standing ovation given by the 7,697 fans who gathered in the stands, a figure that was absolutely meaningful considering that it was a weekday match.

The Rojiblancos next generation Almeria U12, two Almeria U14 sides, two Almeria U16 outfits and two Almeria U19 teams, who compete in the highest ranks of their respective league levels, as well as Almeria ‘B’ who compete within Tercera Division RFEF (Group IX) among the best in their competition, were presented by the Club. In addition, Almeria Women U16, Almeria Women ‘B’ and the Almeria Women senior squad -who compete in Primera Nacional- were also introduced during the break.
