UD Almería looking to pull off third back-to-back away victory

The Rojiblancos are keenly aware of the difficulty of the match vs SD Eibar, yet they want to continue asserting themselves in the league

UD Almería are taking on one of the strongest rivals in the LaLiga SmartBank competition this Friday (kick-off 9pm Spain Time/ Matchday 10). SD Eibar will be welcoming the current leaders of the pack at the Ipurúa Stadium in North Spain.

This fact means playing with a strong dose of responsibility and motivation, which the UD Almeria first team players are eager to show over the course of this battle between two sides that fight for the same goal. Both second tier contenders are the league top scoring teams, who also have the leading scorers in the competition at the moment. On the contrary, UD Almería have greater reliability in defence so far.

Rubi's men have found that sense of stability after their last loss in Lezama. Since then, they have achieved 3 wins and 1 draw. After winning over AD Alcorcón and Girona FC, the boys from the Andalusian South coast will try to pull off their third back-to-back victory away from home, which would mean holding the lead.

The Rojiblancos are keenly aware of the potential of the next rivals, yet they have full confidence in their possibilities of defeating them. Of course, as Rubi said before, it will be essential ‘to do very well at Ipurúa.’

Aitor Buñuel, injured on Matchday 5 as well as Robertone and Ramazani, two players who were in a great form but unfortunately suffered muscle injuries last Saturday against UD Las Palmas, will be out of action.

The Indalicos took part in the last training session this Thursday before jetting into Bilbao this Friday morning (10am Spain Time). After touching down, the squad members will travel to Eibar, where they will play the game. The fixture will be broadcast on Spanish free-to-air TV channel GOL.
