UD Almeria Foundation’s Christmas Campus ends with great success
The participants met with the UD Almeria first team players and with the manager, José María Gutiérrez
This Christmas, the UD Almería Foundation has organised again their football campus aimed to boys and girls. It took place on 30th and 31st December 2019 and 2nd and 3rdJanuary 2020, at El Zapillo football pitch.
The activities and training sessions began every day at 9.30 in the morning and lasted until 2 p.m. There was a break for the little ones to have brunch. On the last day, the children visited the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium’s facilities, in which the UD Almeria first team players train and also got to meet personally some of their favourite players. They greeted and chatted with Gaspar Panadero and Sekou Gassama. Both players were asked about their concerns about football, daily routine, lifestyle and diet. At the end of the day, there was time to sign autographs and take some memorable photos. The first team head coach, José María Gutiérrez, has also been with the youngsters at the closing of the Christmas Campus.
