UD Almería 'B' need to get back to winning ways

The 'B' team Rojiblancos are focused on getting all three points again in this Sunday's away match (KO 5:30pm CET) against Torredonjimeno.

UD Almería 'B' want to return to winning ways after their setback at home against Huétor Vega, a defeat that saw the team from Almería get out of the VIP zone and end their good run of three victories on the spin; In addition, it was a match in which Carlos Rojas sustained a meniscus tear in his right knee that will keep him on the treatment table for three months. As a consequence, head coach Óscar Fernández will not be able to count on him until mid-April. Lokosa, who is recovering from the flu, will probably miss out as well as David Cuenca, who has some discomfort.

The lads from UD Almería 'B' are travelling to Torredonjimeno with the firm intention of collecting all three points and avoid getting far away from the play-offs zone, although level on points with fifth-ranked side Athletic Malaga.

The game stats between the two sides tilt the balance, slightly, towards the UD Almeria; the UDA Rojiblancos have achieved 4 victories out of the 10 games they played, two losses and two draws. However, in the first half of the season match held at the Anexo ground, Torredonjimeno won and happily took all three points after winning 1-2.

Now, the youthful Indálicos are the ones who have to bring the three points back to Almería, although they will not have it easy, since out of five visits to the Matías Prats stadium, they have only clinched one win.
