UD Almeria ‘B’ and Utebo FC will face off for promotion
The UDA Academy youngsters play the play-offs last round game at 7pm (CEST) next Saturday at the ‘Ciudad del Fútbol’ in Las Rozas de Madrid
UD Almería ‘B’ and Utebo FC will face off for promotion to the Segunda Division RFEF. This has been determined after this Monday’s draw in which it has also been decided that the youthful Indálicos will play this last round of the play-offs at 7pm (CEST) next Saturday at the ‘Ciudad del Fútbol’ in Las Rozas de Madrid.
The UDA Academy players will go into this final round after beating Marbella FC and Huétor Tájar in the previous knockout stages in which they faced rivals who have played against over the course of the Tercera Division RFEF campaign in Group IX. The next rivals are a Zaragoza-based team that came second within Group XVII and beat CF Illueca in the play-offs.
The best ranked team in the regular season will move up a rank in the event of a hypothetical tie at the end of extra-time. This factor forces UD Almería ‘B’ to have to clinch a win during the 90 minutes if they want to see their dream come true of earning promotion to a higher tier next season.
As mentioned above, the UD Almeria ‘B’ hopefuls will play this third and last round of the play-offs for promotion to the Segunda Division RFEF at 7pm next Saturday at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas de Madrid.
