UD Almeria and Puma announce major sponsorship agreement

The sportswear company Puma and UD Almería have signed a long-term agreement whereby the German brand will be the official sponsor of playing and training kits as well as casual sportswear. As of August 2020, Puma will be the official partner of UD Almería and will supply the kits for the men's and women's UD Almeria football teams.

Javier Ortega, Puma's Managing Director for Southern Europe, commented: ‘We are very happy after this association with UD Almería, a team with which we hope to build a very satisfactory partnership and with which we share their commitment and belief in the collective effort to achieve the most important objectives.’

For his part, Mohamed El Assy, managing director of UD Almería, highlighted the agreement reached with PUMA, stating that ‘it is a great satisfaction for our club to collaborate with a firm of such an international prestige within football, in particular, and sports, in general. We are committed to an ambitious project in all aspects, and in this sense, it was important to have PUMA.’
