The Almeria B get the new year started off hosting Antequera CF in the Anexo training ground
The team will play the game this Sunday at midday. The rojiblancos battle it out to keep their position in the play-offs for the Second Division B promotion spots.
Now that Christmas is over, Almeria B kick off 2020 with a clash against Antequera CF in the Anexo training ground of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. The rojiblancos defend their 4th place in the table and therefore playing off for promotion to Second Division B. The UD Almeria B team are hosting a group that, despite being 11 points behind, are fighting for the top positions and have considerable experience in the category.
The Academy team returned to training last Tuesday after having remained unbeaten in 2019 for a long time since the arrival of Fernando Santos, ‘Nandinho’, at the bench. Not surprisingly, Almeria B managed to bag a well-deserved point in Torredonjimeno after beating CD El Ejido. Thanks to this, the team got the Christmas break started on a good note and feeling really happy with their performance as they continue in the promotion zone.
Almeria B’s next opponents, Antequera CF got more away victories than defeats. In this sense, our visitors won 4 away matches and drew another two, out of the nine encounters played away from El Maulí, their home ground.
