Rubi: ‘We’ll always go for more with ambition’
The head coach highlights the unwavering support of the fans and underlines: ‘We’re here to work for them’
Rubi reflected on the fifth consecutive victory achieved by UD Almeria at the post-Burgos presser: ‘We’ll always go for more with that mentality of ambition.’ This was his clear message since in his opinion that is the key so that ‘no one relaxes’ and that all the squad members carry on contributing to the Rojiblancos’ successes.
The Catalan head coach derived great satisfaction from winning the match against Burgos CF as ‘his team’s lead has been strengthened’. During his post-game analysis, he stated: ‘We’ve played a first half in which we haven’t taken many risks and we’ve defended with the ball. We’ve taken a step forward in the second period though.’
The fact that his side failed to convert the second goal beforehand forced the Indalicos to have to know how to suffer ‘We haven’t handled the counter-attacks well because we created enough chances to have sealed the game before,’ added the UD Almeria gaffer.
