Preparations do not stop as UD Almería build towards Matchday 7

The Rojiblancos have trained on the Anexo ground before taking part in more practices to be held at the Power Horse Stadium ahead of Friday's test in Bilbao

UD Almería continue with their preparations for Friday's away game against Athletic Club de Bilbao at the San Mamés Stadium (kick-off 9pm CEST). After last Monday's session carried out at the Anexo training base, the team have been put through their paces on the same pitch this Tuesday morning, although this time behind closed doors.

Head coach Rubi has already started to focus on the tactics thinking about the next official match with high hopes of putting an end to his side's losing streak of three consecutive defeats. At the same time, the gaffer is perfectly aware of the great difficulties that his team will have to deal with in this league appointment due to the potential and the great form of hosts Athletic who sit fourth in the standings.

The rivals from Bilbao thrashed their opponents in their last two outings to Cádiz (0-4) and Elche (1-4), while they shared the points with RCD Mallorca and RCD Espanyol and also beat Valencia CF (1-0) and Rayo Vallecano (3-2) on home turf.

UD Almería have two more training sessions ahead before flying northward. This Wednesday and Thursday, the squad will be working behind closed doors at the Power Horse Stadium.
