Almería Women get back into training after Xmas break

The Rojiblancas would like to keep the good vibes going in 2022

UD Almería Women returned to the training grounds on Monday evening to resume competitive activity in this new year. The girls return eager to keep on the right track to achieve their goal and keep the good vibes going in 2022. Not surprisingly, after the results on the last Matchday -the Indálicas put forward their first reverse fixture against Olympia Las Rozas at the end of December 2021- Álvaro García Burdalo’s side sit third in the table, one point behind runners-up CD Badajoz Women.

The results go to show that this 2021/22 season has been spectacular for Almeria Women so far since the first half was completed with 9 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. The impressive progress made between the previous 2020/21 campaign when they fought to avoid the drop and this current season should not make the girls feel overconfident as there is still half way to go and this league is absolutely demanding. The ladies from UD Almeria are keenly aware of this fact so they are focusing squarely on this new stage in which grafting away will be vital to continue growing and achieving positive results.

Thus, the players returned to step on the grass of the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium, starting the preparations for the duel against La Rambla, which will be played at 12:00 h. Sunday.
