Almería to go all out for a win against Málaga CF

The Rojiblancos host this Saturday (kick-off 9pm Spain Time) dangerous rivals who have been undefeated in the competition so far

UD Almería are eager to get the imminent Andalusian derby against Malaga CF underway. The Malaguistas visit the Juegos Mediterráneos on LaLiga SmartBank Matchday 4 this Saturday for a 9pm kick-off (Spain Time). The Rojiblancos performed a final training session on the same pitch where the meeting will be taking place this Saturday. The squad get together at the Gran Fama Hotel located in Almeria city at noon before the league action is back.

Although UD Almeria fell to a painful defeat to SD Amorebieta last Sunday, Rubi’s team will do their best to avoid making again the costly mistakes from Lezama, go all out for a win and feel the same good vibes from the pre-season and from the first two matchdays of the championship.

Málaga CF will be tough opponents, who ooze quality and practise press high, to beat given that they have been undefeated so far following a victory clinched on Matchday 3 as well as two draws, one of them after coming back from being 2-0 down against UD Ibiza. Undoubtedly, it will be a test for the UD Almería contenders who will have two consecutive outings to Ponferrada and Alcorcón after this battle on home turf.
