Almería look to remain invincible at home and clinch second consecutive win

The Rojiblancos host Tenerife this Friday (kick-off 9pm) with the firm intention of putting in another brilliant performance

UD Almería are hosting islanders CD Tenerife this Friday at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium (kick-off 9pm Spain Time/ Matchday 7). This match comes 20 days after their last performance at home since the Rojiblancos have played two consecutive away games.

After 6 games played, UD Almería have only hosted two sides at the Mediterraneo, both times with triumphs. Remaining invincible and clinching the second consecutive victory is the short-term goal of Rubi’s team, who are looking forward to putting in another brilliant performance like the one against AD Alcorcon at the Santo Domingo Stadium last Friday.

Next rivals CD Tenerife, who have conceded the fewest goals so far in LaLiga SmartBank, are visiting the highest scoring team in the competition, UD Almería. Head coach Rubi has already announced that he cannot count on Carriço, Aitor Buñuel and Akieme for the game. Goalie Makaridze is back and Juan Villar could also be named in the squad list after a two-month stint on the sidelines due to an injury picked up in the pre-season.

The Rojiblancos have taken part in a final evening behind-closed-doors session this Thursday before getting together at noon this Friday.
