Almeria B players undergo health check-ups at ‘Chironprevention’

The Academy second-team youngsters attend the clinic as a continuation of their pre-season

UD Almería B homegrown youngsters have visited ‘Quirónprevention’ clinic, where they have undergone several health check-ups as a continuation of the second-team’s pre-season being conducted by their head coach Fernando Santos, ‘Nandinho’.

The Academy players are currently preparing themselves for the Tercera Divison kick-off, which is the fourth tier of Spanish football. The starting date has been set by RFEF (Spanish Football Federation) for the weekend corresponding to 18th October, so that the young players are visiting the Quirónprevention clinic three days, where the personal physicians are conducting medical examinations focusing on the players’ overall health and injury history before facing the highly competitive tournament.

The members of the Almería B squad have undergone an electrocardiogram and a blood test. These medical tests are usual in the first days of pre-season with the aim that footballers do not run any health risk when attending either training sessions or league games.
