Almeria B hope to end 2019 pulling off their 10th matchday victory
Five Almeria B players joined the first team in the Copa del Rey
The UD Almeria B team will be playing the last home game of 2019 in group IX of the Third Division. The B team will be playing a match in the Torredonjimeno’s field this Saturday 21st December (6 pm.)
The B team took a precious bundle of joy after winning the derby against CD El Ejido, so Fernando Santos, 'Nandinho', has been conducting training sessions during the week with the absences of five of his players. José María Gutiérrez, the first team’s head coach, appreciated the great performance of Rubén Enri, Fran Callejón, Dani Albiar, Vertiz and Fermín. He decided to called them up to the Copa del Rey game against UD Tamaraceite. In fact, the left back Fermin was a starter, while both Enri and Albiar spent a few minutes on the pitch.
The fact that the aforementioned players have been training at the same pace as professional football players has allowed them to be ready to take on Torredonjimeno in good physical conditions. This means that they will have no problems when taking part in the next Almeria B match.
