Despite Gilbert’s opener put the youth squad in front in a highly competitive match, Alhaurin de la Torre staged a comeback to get all 3 points

There were no outstanding actions until the final stage, both at the hands of the Almería ‘B’ contenders and with the leading role of Kevin Bautista. In the first of them, the post prevented Óscar Fernández's boys from getting ahead, while in the second, it was the goalie who made a superb save.

The 0-1 took place in the second half. Rojas who started a very good play down the right wing and, after reaching the goal line, sent a reverse pass to peer Gilbert who did not hesitate to open the scoring. It was the attacker's third goal in three consecutive games.

With the advantage on the score, there were some opportunities created in the shooting zone to have extended their lead, yet, with 77 on the clock, the hosts tied with a header in a set-piece. The aerial game would end up causing havoc in the box, since just 4 minutes later, the final 2-1 arrive right from a corner-kick.
