The Málaga-born head coach joins the UDA Academy after having a fantastic season at Elche CF U19 A
Zeus Carmona takes the reins of the UD Almería U19 'A' youth team that competes in the Division de Honor league. The Málaga native head coach has experience in this tier, since he coached Elche CF Under-19s 'A' last season, who were eliminated from the Copa del Rey U19 by the youthful Indálicos in a match played at the Francisco Pomedio located in the town of Huércal de Almería.
Zeus Carmona, 38 years old, began his career as a head coach in the past 2013/14 campaign when he was appointed Atlético Benamiel CF head coach. Next, he focused his work at grassroots level joining the Málaga CF youth academy to lead the Under-19s side and one season later, the under-16s. The good results obtained by these groups in the lower ranks led him to be at the helm of Atlético Malagueño CF, being second coach in the 2018/19 season and head coach in the 2019/20.
The new Under-19s 'A' gaffer has been working for Elche CF in the last two years, helping the 'B' team finish group table-toppers and placing the Division de Honor youth side fourth in the table behind Valencia CF U19, Atlético Madrid U19 and Villarreal CF U19.
