UD Almería will begin preparing for their clash with CD Leganés on Tuesday afternoon. Mikel Vesga is awaiting medical tests, while Dzôdić returns to Club duty
UD Almería will be back at home next weekend for Matchday 9, when they take on CD Leganés on Sunday 11 October, with kick-off again at 4:15pm (Spanish Time). The squad have two and a half days off before returning to training on Tuesday afternoon.
The practice will mark the start of preparations for the next league fixture, as the coaching staff assess the fitness of several players. Mikel Vesga, who had to be substituted against Burgos CF after taking a knock, is awaiting medical tests.
Stefan Dzôdić will also return to Club duty after making his senior Serbia debut in the Nations League. That brings the international break to an end for UD Almería, particularly after the impressive performances of Cipenga, who arrived back from Zimbabwe, and Quim Junyent, who has been away with Spain U20s.
It will be a long week for UD Almería, with 5 training sessions scheduled as they prepare for the visit of CD Leganés. The visitors will be looking to bounce back after suffering a heavy defeat to Cádiz CF this weekend.
