UD Almería face busy week ahead of Racing Santander clash
Long break between fixtures as the Indálicos prepare for 7 September home match
UD Almería will have a much-needed break before returning to action next Sunday, 7 September, when they host Racing Santander at home. After playing 3 league matches in quick succession against Albacete Balompié, Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa and Real Sociedad 'B', the team now face a 9-day window before their next fixture.
The squad will return from San Sebastián this Saturday, where they will undergo a recovery session upon arrival. Although it will be a lighter session, it will also be somewhat more intense due to the limited minutes some players saw at the Anoeta Stadium.
With no days off this week, UD Almería's players will rest on Sunday and Monday before getting back to work on Tuesday to prepare for Racing Santander. The team will have 6 training sessions, including a double session on Wednesday, marking the start of a demanding week of preparation ahead of the crucial home fixture at the UD Almería Stadium.
