UD Almería returned from Mallorca and will begin preparing for Saturday’s game with Burgos on Wednesday. On Sunday, 11 October, CD Leganés will visit the UD Almería Stadium
The UD Almería squad returned from Mallorca following their game at the Son Moix stadium, travelling back on a charter flight. As usual, the players will have a recovery session on Monday before being given Tuesday off.
The Rojiblancos will return to training on Wednesday as they begin preparations for Saturday’s visit of Burgos CF, with kick-off at 4:15pm. It will be the first of two consecutive home fixtures for UD Almería. After welcoming Burgos CF, the side will host CD Leganés at the UD Almería Stadium on Sunday, 11 October, with that game also kicking off at 4:15pm.
UD Almería have won all 3 of their previous home matches and now have the opportunity to continue turning their home ground into a fortress. Doing so will be particularly important if they can combine it with the strong run of form they have built up away from home.
The focus will be on taking things one game at a time and Burgos CF is the immediate priority. Head coach Xavier García Pimienta will have 3 training sessions to prepare his side for the upcoming league fixture.
