UD Almería shifts focus to SD Huesca clash

The Indálicos prepare for Saturday's home match against the Oscenses after AD Ceuta FC setback

Following their controversial defeat in Ceuta, the UD Almería squad has returned to Spain and will focus on preparations for their upcoming league fixture against SD Huesca on Saturday at 6:30pm (CET) at UD Almería Stadium.

After the match at the Alfonso Murube Stadium, the Rojiblancos travelled back via Tetouan, Morocco, on a charter flight and will resume training this Thursday afternoon. With just 2 training sessions before facing the Oscenses, the Indálicos will look to build on their strong home form, having won their last 5 matches at home.

Despite the setback in Ceuta, UD Almería remain in 4th place in the standings, just one point behind Deportivo La Coruña, Racing Santander and UD Las Palmas. With these 4 contenders for promotion to the top flight starting to break away at the top of the table, a victory against SD Huesca is crucial for UD Almería to keep pace with the league leaders.
